After the carbon fiber tube is cured and formed at a high temperature by a hot press or a hot autoclave, the surface of the carbon fiber tube needs to be processed with sandpaper or sanding equipment. The purpose of this step is to make the surface of the carbon fiber tube flat. There will be a lot of debris on the surface of the carbon fiber tube after polishing. You can choose to remove the debris on the surface with water or a cleaning agent.

 

When the surface moisture is completely dry, you can design the walking path of the spray gun to spray paint according to the shape of the carbon fiber tube, and pay attention to the paint evenly when spraying. Generally, carbon fiber tubes need to be painted three times: primer, colored paint, and surface clear paint. Each time it is sprayed, it needs to be baked. During the painting process, it is found that there are paint particles or depressions on the surface of the carbon fiber tube, and it needs to be polished or filled until the surface is smooth, so that the painting step of the carbon fiber tube is completed.

In the processes before and after painting, trimming, sandblasting, and polishing are also required. The labor and time required are relatively large, which directly leads to a relatively long production cycle of carbon fiber tubes and other carbon fiber products.
