HRC to accelerate construction of Type
IV carbon fiber hydrogen storage bottle demonstration line
Recently, the international joint development platform construction project of hydrogen storage composite pressure vessel jointly cooperated by ACTC, the Advanced Composites Technology Center under HRC, and Aachen Institute of Textile Technology, Germany, has passed the recognition of Suzhou Overseas Offshore Innovation Center.
Hydrogen energy industry is one of the key strategic emerging industries in Changshu and even in China. ACTC seizes the strategic opportunity, aims at the international advanced type IV hydrogen storage technology and accelerates the layout of the on-board hydrogen supply system parts industry.
As an overseas offshore innovation center, the establishment of ACTC's international joint development platform for composite hydrogen storage pressure vessels has not only made significant progress in product development quickly, but also introduced an international R&D team to the company and accumulated more overseas partners in the field of high-pressure hydrogen storage tank technology.
Up to now, the platform has completed the winding process design of Type IV high-pressure hydrogen storage bottle product and made a demonstration product. Next, the R&D team will accelerate the establishment of the pilot line to form a production demonstration line with an annual capacity of 10,000 bottles, laying a solid foundation for the company to achieve higher quality development.
