Carbon fiber is a new type of fiber material with high strength and high modulus fiber with carbon content above 95%. Its density is only half that of aluminum alloy and 1/5 of stainless steel, but its tensile strength is more than four times that of steel. Previously, many top notebooks will use carbon fiber shells, but so far, few smart phones using carbon fiber materials have been seen.

Recently, Berlin-based German company CarbonMobile launched a new smart phone Carbon1MKII, which is the industry's first Android phone using carbon fiber material.图片关键词

Carbon1MKII mobile phone uses a 6.0-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of up to 2160x1080. In fact, because this phone does not use a full-screen design, it is much larger than other 6-inch Android phones.

However, with the blessing of carbon fiber, the thickness of this phone is only 6.3mm, and the weight is only 125g. For comparison, the iPhone4 with a 3.5-inch screen weighs 140g, and the Mi 6 with a 5.15-inch screen weighs 168g. Today's mobile phones with a screen of 6 inches or more generally weigh more than 200g.

In terms of configuration, the Carbon1MKII mobile phone stays with the MediaTek HelioP90 octa-core processor, the storage configuration is 8GB+128GB, the rear 16 million dual cameras, the built-in 3050mAh capacity battery, and also supports NFC function.

Carbon1MKII mobile phone will be launched on the market this summer, priced at 800 euros.
