Recently, "Yuxiang II", a hydrogen-powered six-rotor UAV developed by the Hydrogen Power and Low Carbon Energy Research Center of Harbin Institute of Technology, successfully made its maiden flight. This is the second hydrogen-powered UAV after the successful launch of the "Qingou 30" hydrogen-powered vertical take-off and landing fixed-wing UAV earlier this year.图片关键词

The frame of the aircraft is made of carbon fiber, and the hydrogen-powered system is mounted in the middle of the fuselage, which can realize fixed-point air drop, return to flight and emergency landing autonomously, and can quickly replenish energy in 15 minutes, effectively extending the working time and improving the endurance.

Its maximum takeoff weight of 35 kg, the maximum load of 6 kg, range of 48 km, endurance time of 100 minutes, no-load endurance of 3 hours, is the same takeoff weight of lithium battery drones three times. In addition, the wind resistance level can reach 6, working noise<65dB, dustproof capability IP5, working temperature -20 ~ 40 ℃, can complete material delivery, emergency rescue, terrain survey, town planning, border patrol, oil inspection multi-scene, multi-field, multi-faceted operations.

Up to now, the center has successfully developed five types of hydrogen-powered UAVs, including "Yuxiang No. 1" quadrotor UAV and "Yixiang No. 2" large-load fixed-wing UAV, etc. Among them, "Yixiang No. 2 "is a 20kg-class fuel cell drone that can be used in various landing and take-off methods in China.

At the same time, it has independently designed and developed an aviation-grade energy control module, which is a big step forward in promoting the industrialization of hydrogen fuel cells.
